I have Goodyear tyres fitted to my van. Tyre markings are LT 235/75 R15 110/107Q.. My question relates to speed rating, I believe the letter Q relates to the speed rating which is 160km /h. Could anybody confirm what the 110 / 107Q relates to.
Whilst the information on the Caravan Council site is an excellent resource, it does not always give SPECIFIC advice.
It explains how to 'read' the tyre information but doesn't give what the actual letters for speed etc are rated at.
This might help -
As you will see, you are right - Q equates to a speed rating of 160Km/h.
Cheers - John

The numbers are for single or dual wheel applications. The 110 means that if you have single wheels, each wheel can carry 1060kg.The 107 means that,in a dual wheel situation, each wheel can carry 975kg. Cheers.

The two numbers are for single or dual wheel applications. The 110 means that if you have single wheels, each wheel can carry 1060kg.The 107 means that,in a dual wheel situation, each wheel can carry 975kg. Cheers.
Hi correct yobarr
The dual weight rating is probably not relevant for caravans or 4WDs, just for trucks and similar, with dual wheel axles. The LT means it is a light truck construction instead of a passenger type tire construction. IE heavier duty.
Be careful not to exceed that Q speed rating either
