Whats in a BCD-60 Evakool 2010 model, they use a Domus T26K compressor 12/24V DC & controller. The controller is a little diferent to a Danfoss controller also half the price to buy. Heres some pictures & info on the unit. Also note the push on conectors have a locking tab on them. This particular fridge has a faulty temp control as well as no refrigerant & the leak is inaccessible due to a foamed in evaporator.

Hi DeBe, I've got one of these about 15years old, Last time used was Jan this year was working fine, took it out of the shed today and it's not cooling properly and the compressor is only drawing 2.0A instead of normal 4.5A. Would this suggest it has a refrigerant leak? If so it certainly hasn't lost all the gas, it gets down to about 4degC but runs continuously to do that. Cheers

It sounds like it has a very small leak. With low current & the evaporator is only partly frosted, then its low in gas.
