Has anybody with a Ranger Wildtrak come across a simple way of securing a H/D battery in the tray
to run an Engel fridge without doing to much damage to the tray insert?
Thanks. Dick.

Yes, I have cut a piece of thick wood and shaped it to fit the tub. It is located between the wall of the tub and the fridge slide. A battery fits quite neatly there and then I got the dealer who installed the system to glue it to the plastic tray. The plastic battery box is then screwed onto the wood therefore no screw holes or bolts are drilled into the plastic or metal tubs. It has now been there for 8 months and is working fine. If you cut the wood to the right size it is just big enough to fit between the fridge and the wall when the fridge slide is in its normal place (ie close as possible to the left side of the tub). Good luck.

Thanks Trevor.
I have an Engel that I occy strap in but no slide.
I should have thought of the timber insert being previously in the game and have all the gear.
