I have a Dometic rm4805 fridge that when running overnight on gas, occasionally lights the failure light and needs to be restarted. When I try to restart it, the gas light comes on for 6 minutes then goes out and failure comes on again.
The 12 volt supply in the van is generally reading 12.8 volts when this occurs.
does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

It could be that not enough gas is getting through your regulator near the bottle/s. try to reset regulator up a fraction.

Two possibilities, one flame is going out, or the flame sensor or PCB is faulty
Next time you turn it on listen to the flame, after the igniter clicks should hear the flame start. This noise should then be continous, also physically check flame is on and staying on. If flame goes out, gas ot jet fault, if sensor fault will hear solenoid turn gas off.

Bit hard to diagnose properely, as it only seems to happen on cold mornings

Cold mornings are when most gas regulators freeze up The combination of gas expanding from tank and moisture around regulator - you cold try making a little cover around regulator cut up some old flannelette shirts or such and wrap regulator with several layers.

What is it? Part of the fridge?
Take the lower outside vent off and you will be looking right at it.
Thanks
Mate, can you tell me where you bought the green unit? And what part number did you use, is it 11000730?
it turns out not to be a gas problem, but an overnight air temperature one. It only fails on cold mornings.
Try here Gazza.
