my optitec V2 caravan mover is not working in forward or reverse. it will swivel left and right but when forward or reverse button is pushed it omits a continuous beep and will not move. it seems like the brake is jammed on or the gears are locked. I have tried different batteries and even connected it to a car that had the engine running (thinking it may have needed more power) Optitec are not in Australia and only have and agent in Melbourne who didn't seem to interested.
anybody got any suggestions on how I can get this working ?

My relatives in Germany, their mover clamped on. I was there, it had happened previously & they dismantled the thing.
I got them to read the instructions & follow them to the LETTER! It turned out they had missed a step in the procedure.
We had also put new batteries in the remote but that was not the problem.

I agree with terrola. When I had my caravan I had the Optitec mover and it was great. Nothing but great service from the local supplier who advertises on this Forum.
Cheers,
David.

I have now spoken with Garry from Optitec and he thinks he knows whats wrong with it and has agreed to have a look at it when I return it to them. I was speaking out of turn about the company, didn't have my facts right. Thanks for your info
