For those using Vast and Foxtel, do you use 2x HDMI cables with a switch or does one have an RCA input to the tv? IE how do you change between the two??
TIA

I use a 3 port HDMI switcher.
Foxtel on one input port, Chromcast dongle on second input port and Sony home theatre system on the third port.
The single output HDMI port connects to the TV.
Works auomatically and well.

Hi all; you can use say the hdmi input on your television for the Vast signal and then use the rca input ( red, white and yellow input ) for the signal from the foxtel receiver. This way you do not need any type of video switching, as it is all done in the television. There is a small quality loss by using the rca input over the better hdmi input, but on a small screen one would be flat out seeing the difference.

Here is a photo of the HDMI switcher I am using.
I bought off ebay for less than $10 - work well . It automatically selects the active source or you can manually select the source you want to use.
