Our awning over the front window above the hitch has a crack And broken strput. Has anyone replaced the awning Of a Jayco Discovery?

The stone guard over front window is what I think you are referring to - If so any local panel beater will be able to repair.

Its the cover for the window which is at the front of the van and opens up with struts.

When my window cover/awning/stoneguard broke,I simply built a nice new one out of light aluminium checker plate.Struts on Ebay for about $14. However,as Possum has suggested,a panelbeater will sort it all for you if you prefer.Cheers

Hello everyone,
I recall the cover that is being mentioned is plastic or fibre glass - either replace it at ?? cost from Jayco or a parts supplier or do a repair with some aluminium strip & some pop rivets. Not as pretty but it should work ok.
LibMon - I have two of them on my Discovery (single beds).
Always use care when folding it down as there is a lot of stress on the edges where the struts are - particularly with the larger panel.
