My recently purchased 2006 Jayco Conquest users Fiat Ducato 2.8 turbo diesel mechanics. The power steering fluid is on the minimum mark and the book says to use Tutela GI/A fluid. I can't get that, so what is an equivalent that will mix with it?
Thanks folks

Hi jrk36
I have not come to that problem yet
I am led to believe, that Fiat has shares in an oil mob, so they therefore recommend a certain brand of oil
I am also led to believe that, when a Fiat is under warranty, and goes in for repairs, they check a sample of the oil If you are not using their oil, then you have no warranty
As the vehicle takes only 1.3 litres, I would probably drain the old fluid, and refill with a reputable brand
To the best of my knowledge there are two Fiat Commercial mobs in or around Perth
Purley Commercials & Welshpool Fiat Professionals
If you find that they stock, and sell the Fiat recommended oils, can you let us all know please
Edit to say, just making sure that the links work, but they do not open at the page I was reading You have to select the vehicle from a list, and it gives all the oils for the vehicle selected
Hope that the info is useful to you

Interesting that neither of those sites list a 2.8 turbo diesel in 2016 (or 2015), only the 2.3 and 3.0.

Hi jrk36 I did not explain it enough
On the Castrol website, the first link I gave, this is how I found our vehicle type of oil
Click twice on Commercial Vehicles - Light/Medium & 4WD
Click twice on FIAT
Click twice on Ducato Series, 2.8 Litre Turbo Diesel Eng (2002-2007)
Scroll down the page, and you will see all the engine/transmission/power steering oils, brake fluid, and radiator coolant, which Castrol recommend for our vehicle
The Nulon website is similar
Let me know if you found it, I am using Windows 10 on a computer, it may be different on a tablet/phone

Thanks Tony - it works going in that way, but you're correct - there is some sort of fault and does not work on my iPad.
