When the power button is pressed to turn it on, the interior light and a temp led on the front both briefy flash but the fridge doesn't stay on. You can hear a relay click too. It has done this before but came right but no longer. Have checked the earths and power to the circuit board etc. Anyone had the problem and did you find the reason?
Thanks Andy

Is it the 12v supply?
& if it is what is the voltage at the fridge while it is trying to start, NOT at the battery.

For those not in the know, the fridge is a 120 litre AES Dometic fridge.
Andy, as you have confirmed that there is sufficient voltage at the "House Battery Connection" (as distinct from the "Vehicle Battery Connection") my guess that it has to be the "Control Circuit Board."

Right thanks Peter, so thats the board behind the vents under the white box? Measures 13.1V at the power connection. Plan to take it to a Dometic repair service but best to be armed! Any idea of the cost of that board?

I assume you are trying to start it on gas.
Connect to tug and see if fridge starts on 12v if tug is wired correctly. Or, try 240v if access to a gennie or other 240 supply.
I had a similar problem twice with gas and the result first time was the gas bottle pressure.
Changed bottle and all was well. The fridge can be very gas pressure sensitive.
Second time was crap in the fridge jet. Removed jet, used fine wire to clear, and good as gold.
Hope it helps, happy travels.

Does in work on 240 plugged into the grid, not via the caravan?
