We have an Iveco/Winnebago 26' 'Jervis' Motorhome and just wondering what the opinion is of other users out there, as to the use of stabilizer legs to minimise any movement when set up? At the moment I use a small stabilizer jack at the doorway to stop any 'dipping' on entering or exiting the motorhome, which seems to be quite effective, but got me thinking about stabilizer legs to reduce any movement throughout the unit. Any advice, ideas or recommendations out there?

Hi
Our Jayco conquest had them fitted as standard
Worked very well
Theyre an ALKO unit fitted to each side at the rear.
Good thing about them was they swung each way when down so if you forgot them and drove of no damage was done.
They also stowed and dropped down automatically when you turned the jack handle.
Hope that helps
Regards Gerry

Never seen the need to add any more weight, cost or complexity.
Cheers,

Neighbours have a Winnebago Ceduna MH. It has stabilisers.
How is the stability with only the step stabiliser? Why not go without for a while longer and see how comfortable you feel?
Maybe, the degree of movement depends on the level or type of indoor activity

At 90° could solve a multitude of issues. On the other hand...

Great on Explorer . Got me out of some traction issues at times also !! Not exactly used to stabilise ? More to make things level

Our sun liner has factory fitted wind/drill down stabs at the rear. They do make a difference but I only drop them if we stay 3+ at a site (usually do). Looked into electric big foot levelers but they are too heavy.
