The display just comes up with three Zeros for about 1 minute then it changes to 0 then 6 then 3.
Evakool say no parts available and dont know what this code means.
Has anybody had the same problem and if so what can be done to fix it?
TIA

Welcome to GN's RPM. I know little to nothing about Everkool's so I shan't be able to assist - but there are a few in this Forum that can.

A good start would be a couple of decent pictures of your fridge & the control panel. So we know what we are dealing with as theres several model 60l evakool fridges. Generaly fault codes are not given by the display but by a LED flashing.

I had an Evakool fridge that developed a problem, Evakool were extremely helpful, I find it difficult to understand that they cannot help you.

G'day TIA,
Can you fill us in with some history? Is the fridge new? Used - has it worked before? Do you have a handbook?
And like rgren2, I find it difficult to understand that you can't get any support from Evakool - they are (or were) an equal to Trailblazer fridges. TB offered me help in the past as well as a major repair after 22 years of operation.
Looking forward to more info.

What 12v voltage do you have at the fridge? Not just at the battery.
The 12v cable that the manufacturers supply, the wiring is too thin from my experience, so voltage drop from my point of view is too much. I use my only 12awg cable (American Wire Gauge) to plug the fridge in.
There could be compounding voltage drop issues, these are the easiest & first things to rule out with a multimeter.
If the fridge has 240v has this been tested separately. Only 12v or only 240v actually plugged in.

We have the exact same model and never had the problem you describe. The power lead from battery to fridge is more than sufficient in my view. The problem lies elsewhere. Evercool have always been helpful with any of my enquiries early in the piece.

So sorry, lost this discussion and could not find it.
I have attached a pic and videos
Any help wood be appreciated, can you still get control panels for this model?
If no to both then I,d suggest taking to a dealer As the led lights are used for fault finding the sequence of your lights does not appear in any fault code document. Maybe a simple fix but a dealer is your best shot.

If theres no parts avalable then you are in trouble even if you take it to a dealer. I would sugest that the micro processor thermostat is faulty. The numbers you are seeing are not fault codes. Theres posibly a switch that will force the compressor to run on one end of the fridge. If not then you will need to get into the compressor & post a picture of the compressor controler, & will tell you how to see if the compressor is ok.

Hi DeBe,
Attached are some pics of the controller.
I found the yellow wire disconnected from the black So I put it back together. Is that correct or is there a resistor or something missing?
The black wire is conected to Ground, so one wonders where the yellow wire goes to? Another interesting wire is the Red wire i have marked going into the controler. never seen that before. To see if the compressor is ok remove the wire from T & ground the terminal. it will force the compressor to run.
Ok, thanks so much! I will investigate the red and also try what you say. Will get back to you soon
Thanks again!

Ok, so I have done a few tests.
The condenser fan does not run at all when you apply 14 volts directly to it.
The compressor also does not run as per your instructions.
Looks like its cactus.
Thanks for your help.

Seems the fan is faulty & so is the compressor control box. Due to the cost of the control box about $300 aprox. Probably not worth fixing, like a lot of stuff these days.
