Some LED Lights are not compatible with electrical systems - this can cause flashing house lights.

Patrick, you are being overly cryptic here. Please tell us the full story? For example, is this happening, what is the timing of the flashes. Is it happening when the lights are supposed to be o or when they are supposed to be off?

Sometimes you can get dirt in you on off switches especially if you have done a lot of off-road driving and experienced some dust inside your van
The fix is to get an electrician to open up the on off switches inside the van and blow out dust check terminals etc

Check the circuit breaker . On lights they fit re closing type so the lights DONT go out totally!! Check fuse board ? Its often a little square silver block with two spade terminals . It could be tired ? Or the globes are higher amperage ? Or short ?? In an emergency a fuse can be used to get home .. like this

I assume the power cable is a 240 volt lead feeding an appliance that you have plugged into an inverter which is in turn plugged into one of the vans 12 volt cigarette lighter type sockets. Is this correct ?
If so how many watts is the 240 volt appliance ? what is the output of the inverter ? How heavy are the feed wires to the 12 volt socket? I think all this is probably relevant before anyone can help you. Landy

Lucky they are not red and blue lights ? Have you pulled over ?
You won't notice if you synchronise your blinking
Cheers,
Peter
