Wondered if anyone can recommend a good quiet water pump. There are so many on the market. Would prefer a recommendation.

Hi Carol, I've just replaced my old Sureflo pump with a seaflo 11.3lt unit. I've noticed a big difference in noise.
They are the same footprint so an easy swap
These pums are noisy by inherent design but am happy with my new unit.
Lots on ebay.

Most noise from most pumps is directly related to how they are mounted and the hose configuration.
I hang mine on zip-ties.

Pump noise is an undocumented feature. It indicates that the pump is running and may also indicate a leak if it continues to run when all taps are off. Can also indicate a slow leak if it runs for a second or so when all taps are off.
There are advantages with a noisy pump.

Be careful with the eBay seaflo pumps, a lot of them are fake and as such have no warranty, how do I know, I got caught that how. After a conversation with the Australian importer, I discovered that this www.ebay.com.au/itm/183863981870 is one of the few eBay sellers selling genuine seaflo pumps.
