A picture says a thousand words, but a hint on context would give me some idea.

I was training a student to fly. I sent him solo in the morning and in the evening he just had to do 3 successful circuits for me to send him out to do some solo circuits. On our first circuit he had the aircraft established nicely on finals and as he began the round out, not sure what happened but it was too late for me to take over. He was a trike pilot where the controls are reversed and had no trouble converting to normal 3 axis controls. So, I guess he may have pushed instead pulled the control during the holdoff. I just cant remember it. I have been flying since I was 12 years old and have several thousand flying hours with most of it instructing and still got caught!!
