I tend to disagree; whilst there have been some argumentative types - that can be ignored by most of us. Mind you we're all getting older and a little less tolerant of them.
We should be old enough to recognise when we are being deliberately "baited" and just ignore the poor unfortunates that have nothing else to do than antagonise.
Competing interests, travelling, illnesses, lack of new caravaning/nomad topics, etc. are all to "blame" for apparent lack of participation.

Guess I can see why this forum has gone quiet overall.
Sometimes if one expresses a opinion they where they have a field of experience or knowledge, you can be almost guaranteed some nark will call it into question, doubt your comments or call you a liar or some other degrading comment.
It is almost worth unsubscribing sometimes....
Sad, sad world where one cannot have the freedom of speech and express one's own opinion.

Try being a climate scientist, ie someone with "a field of experience and knowledge", in a place full of "narks".

Supporting evidence with 5 mm of grass on the SCG wicket might confirm a few things today......
Arrogance is not a crime, many elite sportspeople display a little arrogance.
To get to that level, they need a lot of self confidence and self worth.

Interesting to note, most of the comments in this thread talk about the negative people etc. but I havent seen many real constructive comments about whether people are going to other sites or use fb groups etc. so maybe the commentary in general in this thread is what we get , comments not hitting the mark and straying away from the actual subject.
And it appears to be the same people adding their 2 cents worth
