Hello everyone, We have been contacted by Dr Patricia Obst who is keen to get 'the grey nomad perspective' for her research. Your views and input would be much appreciated and will be put to good use. The following is some information about the research and a link to take part:
A team of researchers from the Queensland University of Technologys Centre for Accident Research and Road Safety - Queensland (CARRS-Q) are currently investigating the growing number of Australians who undertake road trips in recreational vehicles such as caravans, camper trailers and motorhomes. Focusing on road safety issues, this research aims to assess the specific educational needs of these travelers to minimise their risks, and maximize access to information while travelling. So if you have been on a road trip in Australia in the last 2 years then you are encouraged to participate in this research by filling out the survey found on the link http://www.carrsq.qut.edu.au/nomads.jspor follow the link under News and Events: Road Trips in Recreational Vehicles from the CARRS-Q main page www.carrsq.qut.edu.auFor further information on this study, or to request a paper version of the survey, please contact Dr Patricia Obst on 07 3138 4879 or email p.obst@qut.edu.au.
