ah, youve named the vehicle "matilda" you are well and truly gone, hooked forever on a nomadic existance way beyond help or reasoning. anyway know nothing about folding bikes, except that we seen one old feller in new norfolk, tassie get his thumb caught in one and it bled for about twenty minutes ( on blood thinners for his heart and anti coagulants) he was the same old feller that told me to "cover up my tyres with cardboard to keep the sun off them when parked because they : deteriorate faster") he also told me to "free park in cemeteries because nobody will disturb you and they normally have a good view" havent tried either of those suggestions anyway my experience with fold ups is not good but we see a lot of them around so they must be alright, we use full size mountain bikes, not that we climb mountains its just what was on special at a bike shop in perth and they looked shiny so we grabbed them, we havent got a tow bar on "little blue" but I drilled a couple of holes in our rear step and put the carrier on that, they havent fell of yet after nearly 25,000 kms so I dont think they will, what we are seeing a lot of nowadays are those electric things, they seem very popular but I dont know how they recharge them

basil, by george you may be on to something, as for our bikes I didnt say we actually rode them, I just think they look good on the back

still plenty of the electric bikes being sold around home, spoke with a copper and he reckons no licence required, speed resrictions or something like that, waltzing matilda in spring sounds great come home in autumn (2040), we find that if we do all the shopping  (ha ha!) before we park then we are pretty right
