Trip was great, everything went well with the exception of still losing water from my tank.Other than that it was great. 1 other van and two motor homes at the camp site. Really pretty site and the weather was perfect up to late saturday night when the wind and rain came in however, they need the rain desperately so can't complain. Local men in blue did a drive through a couple of times a day keeping an eye on things.
there's only three ways that water can escape from a tank (1) overflow too low or leaking (2) inlet leaking (3) leaking tank, what I would do if you have access to an air compressor, doesnt matter what size, fill the tank and then pressurise it through the filler, you will have to make up a plug with a hole to fit the air line in the centre of it to snuggly fit in to the filler hole, pump it up to about 15 lb and crawl under to see what the problem is you should be able to see or hear the leak if not try 20lb, I wouldnt go much higher. it may take two to do it, you may be able to do it with a tyre pump (hand or foot operated) if the problem still persists, take the tank out and go over it, there may be a crack at the top. when we stayed in mannum the weather was a balmy 32 deg. we just sat in the shade and every now and then we wandered over to the boat launching area and sat in the water, lovely spot

Yep, thats what I remember of adelaide - good fishing but (the "but" is Queenslander - been here too long) - can feel the cold from here (20C at the moment and only "one dog" night)
Can you bring your van up here, we need a bit more water on the ground!
AAAhh! thats what makes S.A. special we have four seasons, each one special, if it gets over 12 degrees at night I'm tossing and turning and kicking the doona off until the 30 degree nights and 45 deg. days kick in, but by that time we are used to it, water on the ground HAH! the trail that Garry left getting up to mannum is the only green bit in the state, we had 5 northern tourists pull up and overnight around his puddle and gratefull for it they were as well
