Oh I love all those old crooners, especially Elvis, Pat Boone, Nat "king" Cole, Perry Como, Andy Williams, Marty Robbins, Harry Belafonte, and the ladies, Doris Day and Debbie Reynolds. Songs in those days told a story, now I don't understand a word of any of the songs.
And I am listening to an album by Jimmy Little at this very moment... An amazing soft and gentle voice with all the character of a genuine Australian. A singer who really never got that opening start because of his heritage. A real pity.
