Over the time I've been posting to the forum I've noted a number of fellow nomads grossly involved in DYI projects involving rewiring vans buses and motorhomes in general .
To those buddy sparkies the following site may provide an insight to selecting cable sizes and how to calculate voltage drop , possibly explaining why some of the high current demand gear we install using auto elec wire doesn't perform as the appliance manufactures say it should , especially fridges , chargers aircons and water heaters , definitely worth a read if only to confirm your doing it right .
mate we are ALL grossly involved in dyi rv's, and post's like this I applaud, anything that could be of any use to our fellow gonad's errrr!! I mean nomad's is much appreciated. good post
I just noticed I placed dyi instead of diy, strange but as an afterthought and of course just the insane wanderings of a bored brain not utilised to it's full potential , dyi may be more appropriate standing for, of course, Do Yourself an Injury which i seem to do on a regular basis when working on a diy project,
of course everyone knows the trouble with do it yourself is that sometimes it does it back, oooppss!!! here comes the boss in the header, damn he wants the truck, better look busy, wheres that grease gun!!!
