    Well g,day
  I was told and i cant say i wasent, but ive been arround for a year or many and what would they know anyway.
Well its like this, the storm is coming our way and it looked so good i said to my loving wife we are gunna cop a beaudy storm so i got of pc was enjoying my coffee ,storm struck so did lighting and sob sob so did a big blast and and sob  pc went black, big burn smell and i said of gosh or like.
And would u believe surge protector was still in package.
Any way moral to the story LISTEN TO YA YOUNGERS sob sob i told ya so i told ya so DISCONECT DISCONECT

When I got my work laptop was told repeatedly must back up every week,did I listen to them ,no.
Hard drive crashed and lost 12 months of work, boss not happy.
Stupid thing is, we back up the home PC monthly.

HMMMM!!!! lesson to be learned I think HMMM!!!, put away silly putey thingy and watch storm, talk can never be short circuited by a lightning flash, although it has been known to give a damp patch to the unsuspecting!!
