Happy New Year
 To All, my wishes for a prosperous and satisfying 2009

So who's got a hangover, certainly not me though Gracie & I had a riotious party last night, Edam cheese, some water crackers and a Cascade light!!!
I've made a new resolution this year and that is to stay positive and not let the politicians, wowsers and assorted social degenerates get me down, to this end I intend to visit Kambah Pool this morning and tell all those reclining naked that I've seen the light and am going to dob them in to Fred Nile.....

very noble of you Basil and it will be very well recieved I'm sure

I got a lot of well wishes from freinds all over the world last night and this morning, a lot of celebrations occur at this time of year that I dont understand but I still respect

the one that stands out to me I recieved early this morning, it was sent to me by an arabic freind we met in darwin

roughly translated it states

"MAY THE FLEAS OF A THOUSAND CAMELS INFEST THE BACKSIDES OF YOUR ENEMIES AND MAY ALLAH IN ALL HIS WISDOM THEN SHORTEN THE ARMS OF YOUR ENEMIES SO AS NOT BE ABLE TO SCRATCH"

anyway I hope you all have a great and healthy, happy, prosperous and safe 2009 and forever

G'day all,

A Happy and Prosperous New Year to you all, may all of your journies be Safe, trouble free and your campsites perfect.

Just a quiet celebration at home for us, Irona a small Rum and Blackcurrent and me 3 small 12 year old single malt whiskies, watched the fireworks from the front garden and hit the bed at about 12:45.
