Why do I have to give name and password every time I come to the Forum Site now Dave? I used to just click on the Forum without having to do that every time.

ah!!! thats cos we dont trust ya!!! no I'll have a look and get back to you, my computers a bit slow, i just put a new hard drive in ( sata drive not I.D.E. ) and I cant get any sense out of it, slower than dial up, but I will endevour to find an answer

O.K. back again, did you miss me!!! no I didnt think so, niiice!!,  anyway when you place your name and password in, do you tick the little box underneath that asks to remember you!!

I had been ticking the little box Dave.  I've now put Grey Nomads' Forum on the Favourites.  Amazing what a difference a slight change in wording makes.  Thanks Bridgee.

Basil, all I'm doing is sitting here at work (deskjob) selling tyres and general vehicle repairs, so while I do the books I also wander in here. 2 weeks to go until I am OUTA HERE!! cant bloody wait!!! hows that song go. "TURN ME LOOSE"

I had it on the Favourites the first time.  Deleted it and went on again with slightly different wording,  and today was asked to give name and password again.

I have had it on my favourite since first logging onto this site.  Do you log off or just cross out?? I don't log off just click the red cross when closing down, then the next time I'm on here just go to favourites click on g.n. forum and I go straight to the forum page, not sure I can even remember the password!  So I am not sure why you seem to having problems, but I would try saving it again in your favourites.

I have mine set on favorites but only the Grey nomad general site, I then proceed to the forum where my login is saved by ticking both the IE box and the "save my password" box, when I go back to work I just navigate away to another place usually home. I have never had a problem

I was told it's not a good idea to log off very early on, so I've never done that, just click on the cross.  And Dave that's how I used to get onto the forum 'till this problem came up, and I changed to " Grey Nomads forum " on the favourites column.
