Hi all! I thought I had better put in a quick word to do my bit! The heatwave was horrific! Everything melted, including the cheese in the fridge, but I was lucky enuf to be rescued by Ken and Liz at Black ....too Bush Camp. Wonderful people. I also had the pleasure of meeting up with Gary and Kerry there. More wonderful people! Didn't expect anything else of some Grey Nomads! Now it is the bushfires :( The nearest one to us is 35kms away, but the wind is blowing the other way :) lucky us! I am sadened, as we all must be, as we watch the TV bulletins. I am moving to Padthaway tonight as I have a job sorting onions at a farm there. It may give me something to really cry about!! Lol!! Some good vineyards to suss out as well. I am slowly easing into my nomad way of life, and although alone a lot, I am making heaps of new friends. A stranger at the Information centre invited me to an Australian Day bbq, I accepted, and now they are good friends and I have been out and about with them since, and out to dinner. I hope to head North about the end of April when things cool down up there! All for now, Cheers, Dianne
now Bubs, what have I been saying about the kindness of strangers and what would happen if just occasionally you open up a little to others, you now have a new set of freinds to welcome you and build memories from, we made another six great freinds just from our last trip
and as for being alone or lonely, well that too is your choice, people are everywhere, but some of my loneliest times are when I am in a crowd and most of my happiest times are when it's just me and the dragon or when I am alone, loneliness is a mindset thing......
good on ya Bubs and dont turn em down............
