My New Kitchen

I tried to put photos here but got big pictures instead of thumbnails. How do I get little pictures?

Hi Pam

Wow looks great. Is it marine ply.

You must be a tough little lady!.

I looked at a ver y nice camper trailer the other day ...although I am probably a caravanner in reality.

Hubby used 5 ply. I am just the gopher, holder, painter etc.
Will give it a 6 week trial starting next Monday.
Seems to have more room than the old plastic tubs and hopefully we won't have to take too much out to use things. We even have the longer hose now so won't have to remove the gas bottle from the side of the camper.
Its amazing how little things make a big difference to your comfort, esp. when doing things as cheaply as possible.

nothing wrong with that setup Dave, resembles mine, I still have not got around to making a "proper" one (whatever that is) and I'm not buying one at the prices they want

I grabbed one of those big fold up fibreglass tables (7 foot long) from K-mart along with half a dozen plastic boxes with lids and the legs screw on to the camp stove and that setup has been all up through the cooper, diamantina, strezlecki as well as a bit of outback qld heaps of times

should pull my finger out (well take time off working or phone manning) and make a kitchen setup, maybe after we come back from uluru

When I built mine I had a sliding centre pantry, which came out in front of the cooker similar to yours, to transfer tucker over to the sink was really easy, and the whole thing was sealed against the dust,
