trouble is with the wwoofers is that they dont pay, you work for your keep

the term wwoof stands for "willing workers on organic farms" from last report I think they expect something like 6 hours work a day to "pay" for your holiday

That's no holiday! It's an experience, but not necessarily a good one.
I don't mind staying at those places and working for about 3 or 4 hours for tucker and fuel, but not 6 hours. Some stations are offering the 3 or 4 hrs if you have a look at the web site Outback Helpers at this email g.jwatters@bigpond.com.
There are some good job opportunities on this web site on the main page.
Lots of choices. Cheers Chris

Sorry I didn't realize it was a tree hugger concern .. Working for no pay isn't going to fill the tank and get you to point "B" Never trust averts they always seem better than they are

well they are not that bad if one is already travelling and money is really not that much of an issue then it's a good way to just "sit" they are however normally for the younger set or thats how we found them to be

we met some very "free and easy" people doing the wwoofer thing, a lot of "earth" people or "ferals" as the banana benders call them
