I know this is a bit late in the day to send greetings. From Sylvia and myself,Syl is a mum and grandmum. For having the courage and trust in yourselves to set out on your travels and leave your loved Darlings at home is probably the hardest decisions to make as a Mum or Grandmum. Well Ladies we Salute you.Happy Mothers Day.Cheers.Ibbo.
Thank you Ibbo. You did better than 2 out of my 3 children, and 3 grand children. Although, to be fair, the grandies don't see Granny very often. She's too busy roaming the country. I spent the day with a friend drinking tea, yeah, ok, it was a bloke. A park neighbour who I met here last year. Just a reunion cuppa and chat.
I don't know if I'm selfish or just finally fulfilling a dream, but I didn't really feel guilty when I headed to the Kimberleys. The younger 2 girls were late teenagers living with their boyfriends of the time. Much has happened in those 13 years, which is how I became a granny, among other things.
Life's good, no matter how I look at it. And I'm very proud of my girls and where they are in life now. They know where to find me, and it's only a plane ride home. Cheers and thanks again Ibbo and Sylvia.

Gosh Martin, you and Sylvia have a sweet way with words. Is a pleasure to know you as Grey Nomad friends.
I said a few words for my ole Mum up there looking down at me today, can almost see her now now shaking her head at all my silly ideas and antics, but heck ! I still "Love & Miss" her.
