Oil Smell

I have an issue with the Falcon BA transsmission oil smell entering the cabin at traffic lights etc through vents.
This has started only after we flushed the transmission with new fluid.
there appears to be no leaks anywhere in the system and transmission performs well with no flaring or problems even when towing a caravan.
No sign of the smell while crusing on the open road.
The oil we use allthou not ford factory oil clearly had suitable for Ford stamped on the top of the drum.
The old oil although a little dark was not burnt.
I have since bypassed the internal trans cooler and fitted a large drake external cooler, this was not in an attempt to get rid of the smell but more to aviod problems of the internal coolers failing and allowing coolant to enter the system.
After a brief seach of the web I see others have had this problem, is there anyone out there with a solution
Thanks Mike
