Despite the urging of well meaning people, plus the temptation to relate the story of the dramas that we suffered with our caravan with a blow by blow account, has necessitated a step back, so we have decided that our detailed account to expose all, must to be over-ruled by commonsense, and legal practicalities.

 
Because we signed a confidentiality agreement with both the dealer, and the manufacturer, really dictates what I can retell here.

 
I hate to be a tease, but the fear of legal retribution prevents me from relating the chain of events, that culminated in us receiving a significant, out of court compensation settlement.         A fulsome description here, of the peccadilloes of this particular caravan would identify it to both dealer and manufacturer.

 
All I can simply say is this, .that we ordered a supposedly well branded caravan from a supposedly reputable dealer, but instead we received a dud product for our $56,000.00 plus investment..         It was built appallingly, with a total disregard toward quality control, and we were treated like s.t!         We complained, we were ignored, so we took both dealer and manufacturer to court.          They had no defence, and paid up.

(To avoid any thought that this is just a beat-up, I would be happy to display an image or two of our rebuilt van, so someone here might suggest how I can insert an image without me needing to provide an explanation of it's history.)

 The name of the caravan has been changed deliberately and reflects our strongly held views that we will not, under any circumstance, willingly travel around this great country, and help promote a poorly built product.         So, if ever we meet on the road well travelled, and you come across a caravan with an unfamiliar name, perhaps we can relate our story in private, so until then...........
