Trip Planner

Still in my trip planning stage and while doing the research for dog friendly parks came upon this site,  well worth a read  dogs or not . Actually put together by those who have been there done that  and if you find it has changed then you can update the info  which should keep it current, unlike some books that are delayed for  years in the publishing phase before hitting the streets .

Hi Basil,

You link couldn't be clicked on, so I have repeated it below.  I find that sometimes my posts do that, then I have to edit, put the cursor behind the link and then move the space bar along on notch, then the link turns blue and can be clicked on,  I don't know why it does that though.

For your info, Badger is a moderator (Admin) on the caravaners forum www.caravaners.com you can see his link at the top of the main page for caravan park reports also.  His Badgers site is privately owned by him.

Regards
Vic

An interesting site Wombat had a bit of look through places I have stayed to see what other people think. I did notice a review of Renner Springs last August saying the pool was under maintenance well it still is so if you are planning a swim maybe not the place to go. The owner told us it had a hole in it. But places if you like to do a few morning laps on the way through the centre are Wauchope Hotel and Daly Waters pub has a pool im not sure if it was there last time I was there but it is now.  Also not sure of other roadhouses on that strip that have a pool but I'm sure some of you will know. chezgo

Renner Springs pool was closed for maintenance in June 2006. Don't hold your breath in or out of the pool.
Anyway, with the short , cooler days and long, cold nights the water will be too cold to swim in anyway.
