Any thing I should know about the area or road conditions please speak up  Latest updates on Van Parks after Rocky would be a big help, also traveling with the dog  .

On UHF Ch 18,   have call sign  Wombat 280  on the back of the  van  so call if you see me along the way.

I've been speaking to travellers in the last couple of days who have come that way. The road is good for most of it except for road works repairing flood damage or upgrading the black top. It's dry and busy, but you'll be right if you just phone ahead the day before you head out.
I travelled out there in June 06 and didn't have a major problem, just planned ahead.
Safe and very happy travels. Keep up posted. Cheers Chris

Hi Guru.We did that trip a few weeks ago.Nothing really dramatic to look out for.If you use your camps five book you will come across some really great camping areas all dog happy.A lot of the little pubs have facilities for camping some were free, just buy a pub meal from them etc.Look out for road kill especially early morning.Make sure if you free camp you dont stop anywhere near where Road trains full of cattle park,it will give you lasting memories lol.We wish you safe travelling, good times,Cheers.Ibbo.
