camped in the scrub

Just thought I'd help anyone whose not on the road feel a little envious. We are camped in the scrub between southern cross and coolgardie, slowly making our way west, enjoying every minute so if your not on thr road somewhere it's time you were.

There are numerous names I could call you and none of them very nice.
I'm jealous, enjoy

Hi Tezza, on the way across, have a visit to Cunderdin on the highway, where one of the Ettamogah Pubs are, especially the museum there on the main drag, well worth a visit, also taps for fresh scheme water (pumped from Mundaring Weir dam) fill up there also. If you do decide to stay at a caravan park, they have a good one there off the highway and cheap.

Happy travels,
Vic

Is that the one in the Camps book, maintained by National Parks??  If so we stayed there on way to Perth last year and thought it was excellent. Happy travels.

G'Day Terry,

Being an ex farmer you would be well aware of poison baits etc if you have a dog travelling with you, I have put a thread under Travelling with pets on a bloke out prospecting near Sandstone (between Mt Magnet & Leinster) whose dog took a bait if you are interested.

See also the Ag Dept link about egg baits impregnated with 1080.
