Why can't we start a section for Caravan Parks and Caravan Retailers and the like to offer Specials to all these GN Members? EG A caravan park often makes an offer like stay 6 days get 7th day free. We could have this site link sent to as many caravan parks and caravan retailers to offer specials like say, For the month of May stay for the whole month at a discount price of???????????. Do you all get the gist of what I mean. This way would probably increase the membership numbers using the site looking for great specials. I know it would mean someone sending the link to caravan parks and caravan retailers but it would probably be worth it to us GNs in the long run? Any suggestions all you people of wisdom out there in GNs Land? Cheers Dawn
That would be advertising, and I'm sure the Webmistress would be happy to take their money. It would really mean Cindy would have to do some sales pitch with the potential businesses to convince them to give we, The Grey Nomads special treatment. Just being a forum contributor on Nomads could give us the advantage of membership, but it means a bit of work for our "mistress". It's not quite as simple as it seems, but it would be a good idea with benefits. It would be easier for us to simply browse their sites, tell them we are Grey Nomad members and see what the response is. Do you know of any other similar websites which have such beneficial links for it's contributors? I don't want to put a spanner in the works, but that's business. Cheers Chris
