Fuel economy enhancing devices!!!!

AT LONG DAMNED LAST!!!! The ACCC is now prosecuting some of the more famous of these purveyors of BS fuel economy devices like the mirical pill that 'rebuilds worn engines' the 'Fitch Fuel Catalyst' the"hyclone" and a few others claiming their "independant test results" are far from independant and the devices do not and in fact CANNOT live up to the claims of the suppliers/manufacturers....
I worry about the gullibilty of people at times who fall for this sort of stuff, indeed myself I tried some "diesel fuel"enhancer that made promises of a 20% power and economy increase, at best I got 3% increase at a cost of an extra $12 a tank.....
Who was it that said "Energy in = Energy out"????

There's one born every minute. A hell of a lot of our high flyers started their road top the top selling snake oil.

Once worked it out if I put all the fuel saving devices available on the after market on my car the tank should over flow by the time I reach the end of my drive way.

The best devices I've come across are my foot and gear shift.
Use the correct gear and keep the foot off the gas pedal. Cheers Chris

I tend to get my best fuel economy when I stay home.

But then the council rates, levys, land taxes and other government charges get you so.....................??

Yes the bloke who I bought this new house off has that little problem sorted, seems he did his own conveyancing and "forgot" to tell the ACT revenue office, ACTEW, etc he had changed adresses and we are getting bills for both houses now threatening us to cut off supply if we don't pay his bills even though I have tried to explain that we setted on the 3rd of July.... Go figure that one out....
