Hi Milo,

I've got mine in the lower right hand corner of the windscreen Milo, and I think it's much better there than in the middle. I just take the Unit off the holder when I'm not using it, for security reasons. A friend of mine has hers there also.
Cheers,
xina.

well Milo  everyone will get a giggle out of where mine lives now           you see i have got a monitor on the dash for the reversing camera's, then   having a 7" screen gps  with holder   cant see a bloody thing  with both of the  up there except the arial  lol so my gps justs lays flat  on top of the handbrake   no dramas      she still talks to me even if she gets it wrong at times     i would  rather watch  what is behind me as she rants and raves turn right  and left   between the seats

windscreen bottom right, that way it's harder for the dragon to nag me about my being off course as well as naggin nancy (she cant see the screen from the shotgun seat)

if you sync your bluetooth with your dog and bone then it must be within easy reach for when you receive a call from telstra wanting to know if you are happy with your service, which of course everyone is!! especially in peak hour traffic driving through the tollway

Hi - first time in forum.
One thing I've learnt about security of GPS units, is to remove holder & unit when leaving your vehicle. Thieves see the cord & mount on windscreen, will think you have just put unit in glovebox or under seat. so break in looking for your little hidy spot, not knowing you have been really good a have it in your pocket....
I have modified the GPS mount to slip into air vent ( right hand side or centre vents ) that way when I stop for any lenght of time I just grab cord, mount & unit & put it in She who must be obeyed hand bag & I dont even have to lug it around.
If you go to the trouble of removing the mount from the windscreen, the baddies can still see the suction cup imprint left on the screen.

To stop crime think like a criminal..........
