On our recent trip we called into the Big 4 at Moamma ,, on the Murray. Arrived mid morning to check in.
Female on reception , her first words were======= WHATAAAA YAAAA WANTTT ????.... , then proceded to have a proper dummy spit because it was still am.
There was also a price hike as well plus school hols ..
She started it ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I finished it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!told her a few facts about there price .
By this time three other inbound vaners were standing behind me ,not a word was said to them. Several other vaners also had the same RUDE treatment,one was a regular & swore he would never return .
We only stayed two nights & moved over to Echuca , top tourist no school hols ,no rip offs,&great reception,VG park .You got it right ,we wont be back to that one .

Have you passed that on to Big 4? It may do some good to give them some negative feedback. Perhaps the park operators will get a meesage from the group after all they are running on the reputation of Big 4.

What is the attraction to Big 4 CPs, they cater to kids from what I have found there prices are ALWAYS higher than other parks and they offer no more , they also wont allow pets, I check all the others first before I stay in one, prefer to free camp if it the last on the list
when we were at echuca, doin the houseboat thing, we stayed an extra couple of nights in the one well out of town just to have a look at the town and the HOLDEN museum, (wonder why one never sees any ford museums, probably all rusted away before they get to old age) cabin, dont know what it was called but they were fantastic folks, couldnt be any more freindly, outgoing and helpfull
Yes Guys ,we did lodge a complaint with big 4 ,they acknoledged it & we hope they got their A!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!s kicked as it was not provoked & totally uncalled for.
The only reason we needed to stay was we were waiting on a mail delivery from bigpond/telstra. You guested it ,did not arrive & it took another 6 weeks to get it ,by this time we were at the G/Coast, & yes we are still trying to sort it out.
Have not been to a big 4 since ,they are just to expensive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yep low cost and according to the wallaby weekly (a highly recognised over seas journal) it rates about ten thousand stars,
in the gadabout weekly it quotes "one simply cannot ascertain a more suitable or desirable location to erect ones overnight accomodation, simply exquisite, we are amused"
if you simply feel the overpowering need to expell your hard earned then pm me and I will give you my bank acc details, you may place the equivelent exorbitant monies in to that account and I will direct you to a dirty little patch of dirt far away from the loo's and berate you, talk slovenly and generally treat you with disdane
all this I will do just for you so you dont feel too home sick for the c/park, very kind of me I thought!
