.. I arrived here at North Richmond yesterday afternoon to visit with John and Anne (Jandas Fun) to finalise a few things and stock up with supplies before we three get away for a few days out west. Within 2 weeks, I hope to be in Wodonga (Vic) to get some further work done on the communications side of things. From there I hope to pop over to Adelaide to visit my dear Mum for a few days .. and hopefully, also to catch up with a few other GN's in that vicinity too. Back here to the Sydney area by the 20th Nov (a months time) to baby-sit my sons place for a week, after which I'll hang about around the East-Coast (Christmas in Sydney)'til about March 2010 when I'd like to head off over to the West-Coast to begin a slow trip (clockwise) around Oz .. to arrive in Camp Cove (Qld) around the start of August 2010 ..
They are my basic plans for the immediate future, and I hope to catch up with some of you good folk on the way ..
Wow, now that's a plan! Good for you. I guess you'll keep us all informed of your progress and adventures. I'm hoping to get out of this place early in the New Year, hopefully about March. The direction I head will depend on where the wet season has dumped the most rain, and which roads are still open at that time. Other than that, I can't make any more plans. Travel safe Jon.

Hi Jonathan, Sounds good to me. I'm in Perth, also hoping to head off on a clockwise circuit about May/June, aiming to be in Queensland (Pandanus Park) for Long Tan Day (August 17). I'm sure our paths with cross at some stage, Cheers, TonyD

Wow John, you won't be letting that grass grow under your feet any longer by the looks mate. You have a great time won't you. We are not on the road until June next year so will see where you are then.

Thanks for the advice Dave .. but not hurrying at all .. Limited time left before Christmas and we all have our own sets of priorities .. Vehicle is still not quite ready yet, and I have a Mum in Adelaide who's not firing too well .. That done, I'm back here for Christmas with my own boys and families .. then after Christmas, my time is my own ..
Thanks Biggles and Firefly .. its a big country but small enough to cross-paths !
