I think I was doing the Woolworths check-out chick thingy when I last posted! I caught up with Nannymon and TwoBob when they had a fleeting visit, and have been eating their dust since! Boy they travel fast! It was nice seeing them though. Thanks for calling in you two! That finished in early Oct and I headed off to Kununurra. Did all the touristy things, on to the Kimberleys, Bungle Bungles, etc and onto Broome. SHot down the west coast beaches, free camping wherever poss, and on to Freo to catch up with my Son. Ahhh, family at last! I have a bit of time to fill in before Christmas, so have shot back up to Northampton to do some vol work for Frontier Services. A new Mum, with twins, one with reflux, no family around for support and a stressed husband in the middle of a disappointing wheat harvest! I'll just do a Granny thing, housework, washing, cooking or whatever to help relieve the stress. That is for about two weeks, then it will be down to the South West to check out what all the fuss in the article is about! Good old NZ though ah!! All for now my dear friends! I was a bit alone coming down the west, so if anyone is wanting a week, or even a day or two of company over this side...... give me a yoo hoo ..... or is it coooeee! Cheers, Bubs
Onya Bubs Yeh, we did get lost out there. Caught up with my sisters in Darwin after leaving you and should have been behind you on the WA leg. Ended up in front somehow and never crossed paths.
Eitherway, all home now, and did enjoy WA. Perth was one of the best layed out and organised cities I have been too. A real credit. Will return for a deeper inspection another time.
Hi Bubs, good to hear from you again. You're going to love the South-West, although there might still be a bit of weather down that way for a few weeks yet. The coast road from Margaret River down to Augusta, (Caves Road) through the Karri forests is fabulous.
I'm in Southern Cross for a few days, heading down to the south coast east of Esperance, stay in touch, we might be able to meet up somewhere along the track.
I enjoyed the passing trip I did through that SW country so much I'm determined to get back there. I want to park up for a while and enjoy some more. Safe travels.
