There is a great little Park just on the southside of Gympie on the right hand side of the Highway if my memory serves me rightly. Toilets, but I'm not sure about Showers. My sister is at the Caboolture Show-grounds at the moment.
Don't you have the "Camps" Bible ?
Cheers,
xina.

There are a couple of good ones at Tiaro, 20 or so km S of Maryborough.

Petrie Park - turn W over the railway line 1 km No of post office, then immediately R for 200 m, then L to the E bank of the Mary River. Dunnies available.

Tiaro Memorial Park - in Inman St. couple of hundred metres to dunnies and hot showers.

thankyou juscrusin stayed at the park you nominated and it was great. also checked all the other that were mentioned and they all appeared to be good.

also found 1 in childers on the way home. if you turn down beside the hotel and go down to the fire station you find a bitumen park for vans and busses.

this was our first attempt at free stay and we found we had no problems
