Hi All from a newbie

Think I will fit in here, well for starters I am well and truely grey headed, I have just upgrade from a pop top camper to a an older 16 foot van with inside toilet and shower, so how am I going, am I fitting in. The only downfall I see ATM is I am only bloody 48 and grey before my time. This is where you will find me until the new year, annual type trip.
Merry Chrismas to one and all

Welcome to the forum from 2 semi-grey nomads (were both 51) with a 16.5 foot caravan with toilet & shower, we have been on the road for about 4 months of a 2 year trip.
If they let us contribute here then you should easily fit in.

Hi Ibbo
Was down there about a month ago taking photos, no town any more, only some roads and gutters and a few signs of the storm water system. The wildlife have kept the grass areas short and there is some nice camping spots .
cheers

Hi Blaze

I though the country in your photo looked like it might range on the chilly side of the thermometer.  Possibly even snow from time to time??

Welcome to the forum.

And a big fat welcome from me too.
I reckon grey is a state of mind, and it's just matter - "Grey Matter".
There's always a bottle on the shelf if you choose to change it.
Age is also a state of mind. I've got a 35yo brain behind this 59 yo face. It's just not fair.
Whatever you do, do it well, and enjoy it. If "it" stops being fun, stop it!

G'day Robert welcome to you, 48 is a great time in life, not an old grumpy yet but not young and stupid either

I reckon we camped around that area a while ago, very windy, cold and isolated, we loved it!

I dispute that if "anywhere" includes a Thai Lady who knows how to make Duck Palo, no one would fit there.....

Hi Blaze,
From one newbie to another, welcome, I think we will fit in well here, they are all mad you know but it's ok they wont hurt as most of them wear alfoil beanies.

I have a 17ft Lotus no dunny or shower (I just run around naked in the rain and when there is no rain I just run around naked in an alfoil beanie)

Have fun here
Cheers
