I gotta agree, except we're off to melbourne this afternoon and newcastle midweek to catch up on a few "older" friends who couldnt travel, at least we have cool weather for it, just waiting for the last of the mob to clear the coralls and we are off! (5 vans to go) ah the serenity!

I spent the afternoon Christmas shopping. Yeah I know I'm a little late, but I have the luxury of doing it after Christmas because I'm only going south to family on Wednesday. Besides, I was a bit busy with medical matters before Christmas. Cairns is currently experiencing a mild thunderstorm with some rain. It's been hot, still and humid today - almost too hard for this seasoned tropical bird to handle. She'll be right when it rains.
