Hi guys, we just have to share our exciting news. Our daughter gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on Sunday night, Jeniffer Dawn weighing in at 6lb 12. Mum and bub doing very well, Grandma and Grandad totally exhausted!! We were with her through it all and Grandma even got to cut the cord, very exciting.
For the girls I will attach a photo as I know we like that sort of thing. This is of our 2 gorgeous grandaughters. Annaliese was very proud to meet her new cousin.
Cheers Ellen

Our second is due in June. Just think, in twenty or so years we might be great grandies
Ian and Pauline
We are and it ain't what it is cracked up to be, just remember you will be twenty years older and a little less tolerant. It is great babysitting the first 10 times but after that it becomes a bit of a pain.

Our 4th is due now, waiting for the call to come. This is when you realise what life is all about and that all the trials and tribulations of getting to this time in life, were well worth it.

Congratulations Ellen & Mick. From the size of Annaliese you are getting up to the fairy and princess stage. We have a special fairy garden set up at the back of the yard which gets checked every visit, and the 4th birthday fairy party was a delight. Jeniffer looks very alert for a newborn.

Hi Ell & Mick Congratulations to you both, pictures are great. Our 3rd grand child is arriving in March, so Mrs Biggles is on her usual spending spree & running around like a headless chook - she loves it.

mrs biggles and the dragon are so much alike, Ashton, our second grandchild outgrew his "jumpsuits" he needed winter suits, dragon grabs visa card and it's 'hi-ho magna AWAY.
$450 later Ashton has a new wardrobe of clothes, ($25 for a bloody jumpsuit, it's only a foot long) and a large chest of drawers to put it all in, another $600, strewth where were my folks when our kids needed new clothes, ah well thats the joy of grandkids, we can afford it perhaps my parents couldnt!
different times indeed!
Pricey, love it! we too have a "fairy land" down the back!
Congrats love the grandkids, spoil them rotten and then move on to the next lot, our number 8 is due in Perth in may, but we're heading north soon have numbers 5 & 6 in Mackay to meet and spoil.
Well done Elle and Mick. We have 11 lovely GK's and have just spent a week with 2 of them at Paynesville on the Gippsland Lakes. It is so good having time with them. Do all you can with them while you can. The reward is fantastic..

aww how sweet our next one is due in 7 weeks time shes a girl and her name will be chelsea mum is doing realy well ,wondering how our little grandson ryan will take it all, hes pretty much been under all of our wings since he was born, not that he wont be but they do get there nose out of joint .
Thanks everyone it has been so special for us. Dad is not around, and I am grateful for that but feel for our daughter. She has come to realise she is better off, particularly as he has not even bothered to try to see bub (shows the calibre of person he is). But they both have us and lots of uncles and aunts to love and cherish them. It is so wonderful to hear of all these new arrivals that are expected, fantastic. Our first grandaughter is definitely into the fairy and princess stage and when she comes to visit is grandad's shadow, and adores her new little cousin.
Kids are such a blessing and I could just watch her for hours, I have made it clear to Hope (our daughter) that I will not interfere as this is her time and her baby but I am here if needed and all she has to do is ask. Luckily I have been very useful so far. Uncle Dave big cuddles passed on my dear friend
well, well, well, now that I have placed Google chrome on this putey I can see the little munch kins, absolutely beautiful Ellen, you'd be as proud as a bull mastiff with two kit bags, I know I would be!
