a bolt of lightning just came down not twenty feet from our shed, took out the big old gum tree as if it was loaded with explosives, right down to the stump and this thing was 15 foot around the base, shards of timber came flying into the shed some as large as my arm
I reckon I must have rolled on my grease gun as well theres something on or in my dacks that wasn't there a while ago
here take a look at my hand, see how much it's shaking, scared five colors of brown out of me!
4am EDST tremendous clap of thunder, the whole village had lights on in the houses. Best sound and light show I've seen for a while.
Of course it didn't faze me........................well not much anyway.......

Dave 06 , mate glad you survived ok & yes ,it sure freightens the life out of you . Had one many years ago , I stepped off a tractor to close a gate just as a strike happened & felt the heat like a massive log fire , not funny at the time .
Goes to show , never trust those gum trees.
