Greetings all. House settled 9/2 and things are as good as. I'm now the very proud owner of a Coromal Capri..20 footer, shower, toilet, solar, wheels lol!.I'm still in Rocky sorting out a few things but will head for Melbourne next weekend, with a few stops along the way, to pick up the van and spend some quality time with daughter Katie and grandkids while I get to know my new house a little better.Of course it may take me a day or so to back it into their driveway. A shakedown trip or two out of Melbourne and then it happens..Gunadoo will actually do it ..firstly cruising up the east coast at leisure to be in Darwin by end of July to see my son Reece who's on the navy patrol boats up there and then I'll just keep going..somewhere. I haven't felt this excited since Collingwood won their last flag. It's a all a bit surreal. I just needed to share my excitement..looking forward to meeting as many of you as poss along the way..thanks for your ears. David

our "ears" are all yours mate, I've read and reread your post and thought to myself yep this fellers "gunnado", what I wouldn't give to be in your shoes
you give that daughter and grandies a big hug from all us here as well, it will seem a lot "surreal" for a while but this is what life is meant to be, not working for someone else, my old man didn't make it past 65, my father in law died before retirement, if there was one thing I have learnt in my later years is that "it aint gonna be me"
instead of worrying about the damn economy all the time our government should be putting in place things to make life more pleasurable for the likes of us, we work then we die has long since gone out the window
well all I can say is "life begins" make sure you come down this way sometime. lotta folks around this way would like a happy hour or three with you!!
