after reading Denise's mattress improvements I got to thinking, what modifications have you folks made to your sharabangs,
I will post some shots as soon as the cut and shut crew finish with me
Hi Dave, I just did mine about 10 days ago. Hi-ace Pop-top remember. Took the bed down to 3/4, and along the drivers'side put in 2 light wire [Shoe ?] shelves. That still leaves room for the shelf beside the sink to come up. I had a peg-board piece [in a frame] just the right size, so with 2 Occy. straps, hold it stable, so the shelves don't fall over while travelling. One hook in a hole in the Peg-board, and the other onto a cup hook in the roof. I've also started putting silver insulation in. Going to try double silver reflector pieces, and see if that works. That's all so far, but who knows what else I might come up with. Now I can't wait to go for a run and try it out.
Well, that didn't last long. Found a couple of Cane 3 drawer units that fit perfectly where I had the Shoe-racks. [ My friends' mother got one for a shelf unit in the nursing home this afternoon]. Much easier to get at, so the peg-board is back in the shed. Haven't got any Photos yet. Cheers, xina.
