Strongly suggest that members and visitors not click on the link or otherwise respond, including adding comments to that post.  This could (quite likely) be more than just an attempt at free advertising.

The scammers are everywhere.
While this technology is better than having a library in the house, it's also utilised by the drongos to rip people off.

Just this week I receive an email requestiong me to UPDATE my Bigpond details.
I spotted the senders address as NOT Telstra/Bigpond, and reported the email to them.
Why can't these bludgers go and get a real job to earn their own money, then maybe they'd respect how hard people have worked for what they have.

Bring RESPECT back please!!!!!

These people are thieves Chris,  you can't appeal to the good nature of people who have no good nature.  Identity theft has been around for a long time, forged cheques and banknotes,  theft from mailboxes  etc.  Modern technology is just another one of their tools of trade.

NEVER NEVER (deliberate 120dba shouting) respond to any spam or phishing emails even to tell them to go away, or click on any links in these emails, even "unsubscribe" links
