Just to advise the aftermarket bullbars negate the means of front recovery as the bullbar covers the standard recovery point.
This means if you get stuck on a slippery slope or worse as we were there is no means of forward recovery.
This is what Southern Euro had to say:-
"Fiat vehicle have provision for a front tow hook under the cover in the RHF bumper section and the tow hook is in the tool case under the LHF seat.
Unfortunatly the aftermarket Bullbar that is fitted to your vehicle covers this tow position and the manufacturer has not provided an alternative tow point.
Hope this explains the situation and if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us."
Not good enough. Owners should have been advised to prevent being stuck in awkward situations.
Never seen the Jayco set up but I have seen aftermarket recovery hooks fitted to the same position as the Bullbar chassis mounting point on a number of other vehicle types.
That's where where the bullbar bolts to the chassis rail, not all do, and then you have to be careful that it doesn't impede the airbag actuators .
