We ordered a replacement Pop Top sock ( the vinyl that goes around the top) early in February with and expected delivery of 2 weeks however after 3 weeks and no delivery I decided to chase things up. The result was that although the order had been received by the Canvas maker no attempt had been made to manufacture said sock. (The sock had been ordered through Caravan City Cowra who had arranged for it to be made by a canvas maker in the Illawarra district.)This resulted in a promise from the canvas maker that it would be made and sent direct to myself for self installation straight away. After another 4 weeks of non delivery and many phone calls made on our behalf by Caravan City Cowra I again phoned Cowra who finally got onto the maker who promised to get right on to it but still no go after another week. Please note I had paid in advance so could not let the matter lie and go elsewhere. After Cowra had made many more phone calls on our behalf they were advised that it had been sent by Australia post. And finally it arrived on 10th of May some three months from the day it was actually ordered.
Next was our/My attempt to remove the old sock and install the new sock, which after many hours and much advise from Cowra we had to admit defeat  ( There were 2 of us attempting this feat). This is where the good service came in.
 During this exercise Ron from Cowra rang and after hearing our predicament offered to Install the sock at Cowra by his staff gratis. I jumped at this and arranged to have the van at his premises 9am friday.
I arrived at 9am and it took his staff most of the day to remove the old sock and to install the new sock as the old one was not fitted in the usual manner making it most difficult for even those that had done this before.
Now before we make any judgment  you should know that Caravan City Cowra was not at all at fault and went to extraordinary lengths to facilitate the supply of the sock and it was always my intention to install it.
Ron has advised me that they would not be going down this path again as any sock replacement would be on his own yard stock only.
I would recommend Caravan City Cowra to any person intending to purchase a caravan as I have seen with my own eyes their willingness to help any customer they can. I also noted that they have quite a degree of spare parts and accessories on hand for vans.
