Best national park campsite we've found. Hot showers; flushing toilets; wildlife & red river gums all around. Especially good given that it was a sealed road all the way. We purchased a Holiday Pass which entitled us to unlimited entry to all national parks in SA, (excluding Desert Parks and Flinders Chase National Park (Kangaroo Island), for a period of 2 months. The total cost ie seniors $42, excellent deal & one we took advantage of when we could. Also used it to stay at Coffin Bay NP.
Mt Remarkable NP location : Approx 30 klms north of Port Pirie at Mambray Creek & regarded as the southern tip of the Flinders Range.

.. the CP at the main oval provides simple but cheap accommodation .. use of the amenities which includes a hot shower, toilet and free laundry with twin-tub provided .. Has about 4 powered sites @ $6.00 pp/pn .. key available at Craft Shop in town.
