queens birthday

spent the weekend with the subaru club up at inskip point

had a great time drove up the beach no fish :( but had great company
went to watch the dolphins being fed at tin can bay ,even though i think
its one big rort, the set up of the shop there is ridiculous got told off by some
woman that works there she was so rude to me as i was in the way of her getting
food out to people through the front door, they are making so much money out of people visiting there to feed two dolphins is ridiculous and yet they cant even
go out of there way to do something about the conditions of the shop .no

I was most curtious to the woman when i felt like telling her my opinion honestly the set up of that shop is crazy and there are so many people going there every day 8am to pay to feed a dolphin, plus an 8,000 dollar fine if you got caught touching a dolphin too bad if it swims up near you while you are in the water hey ?.

im not a fan of greenies thats for sure. oh well had  nice weekend at least

Glassies that woman is a dill,I was in her shop  some time ago, bought a pie and gave her ten dollars, she gave me change for $50.I told her that shehad made a mistake with the change, she went into a tirade like a fishwife would have been proud of.I told her that she was a rude lady, well sort of.But wait there is more she then gave me more change and said that I had given a $20 note.Thank you Dill. One meat pie, plus $65.00 spending money.Did you notice that she only had one domestic chip fryer, that is why it was so slow in her dump.biggrindisbelieffurious

hi there crow im so glad i have found some one also that had been there, i just could not believe the shop how it had the line up right at the door to order food??? and bloody **** everywhere inside the shop , them guys are making a killing , i remember when they first put it in the paper up here about the dolphins. and then the greenies set in and said oh no if you are going to feed them you are going to do it properly IE: make us some money and yourselves.

so now you pay for a fish in a bucket (that i did not) and the dolphins are aloud to have 30kg a day each, so during this time people are of course especialy in winter going and buying pies , hot chocolates, $4 for a hot chocolate, and i wouldnt touch there food it looked like crap .

I was disgusted and the day they stop that feeding of the dolphins for that shop will be a blessing.

And of course the fine for touching a dolphin, too bad if you are out in the water and it swam up to you what are you supposed to do say hi there and please dont come any closer ??.

Why feed the dolphins???? These animals are some of the most beautiful and playful on the planet and they are very good hunters.....

Then again maybe parting stupid people from their money is fair game!

Forget about Tin can bay and go to Amity pt, on Nth Stradbroke island. The feeding is free and the caravan park is right on the water. I have a sister there, and it was a favouritte place from my youth. They are so smart , they can take your live bait off the hook , and not get hooked! You get to feed them yourself. Note- they don,t like frozen fish. And the food is good at Point Lookout pub. Bill

well i didnt want to feed them,i think its pretty much crazy, them dolphins can get there own food im sure . the only interest was watching others pay the bill to stand in two feet of water and feed the dolphin one fish and try there hardest not to slip in case they touched the dolphin and copped a 8000 dollar fine .

crazy stuff .

Good onya Glassies, I rest my case about parting stupid people from their money!

You'd think the shop lady would at least be nice as she rips the punters off.
